STEM refers to the approach to learning and development that incorporates the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Not only does STEM support an understanding of science, technology, engineering and math, but it also supports important life skills and provides the opportunity to engage in teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, communication, analysis and independent thought.
