Internal Applications are sought for a compliance driven ICT specialist to support a small ICT team within Communities@Work. Bring your expertise and motivation to provide support in the usuage of technology across the Organisation. The Officer will work closely with all end users to understand their needs, and work with the team to deliver solutions and support. The Officer may be required to liaise with external technology support providers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Maintain documentation of systems, and keep clear notes on tasks performed
  • Provide technology support across the organisation
  • Monitor usage of devices and recommend options for improving their use
  • Support projects as needed, including implementation of new ICT systems
  • Contribute to research ideas and development of systems
  • Other ICT duties as requested
  • Understands and responds to different communication styles, and treats people with respect and courtesy
  • Understands diversity and tries to see different perspectives
  • Identifies learning opportunities and understands constructive feedback
  • Display excellence in client service.
  • Builds and sustains positive relationships with team members and clients
  • Works collaboratively and is an effective team member

Selection Criteria

  • Maintain current 'Working with Vulnerable People' registration
  • Two years experience in providing a range of support of technologies, both in person and
  • remotely
  • Experience with web-based software, as well as Microsoft Office, Windows and Servers
  • Experience in diagnosing and solving problems both individually and as a team
  • Willingness and demonstrated ability to learn rapidly and apply learning
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and achieve own workload
  • ICT qualification or certification desirable
